Dragon

용을 중심으로 완성한 긴팔 작업입니다.

처음부터 어깨와 상완, 팔꿈치, 전완으로 이어지는 근육의 흐름을 생각하며 구성했습니다.

작업 전 실제 팔의 사이즈와 형태에 맞춰 도안을 다시 조정해, 용의 몸이 팔을 감싸고 아래로 이어지는 흐름이 자연스럽게 보이도록 진행했습니다.

어깨에서는 크게 말린 몸과 비늘의 밀도를 살리고, 팔꿈치 아래로는 파도와 함께 움직임이 이어지도록 정리했습니다.

붉은 불꽃은 전체의 흐름을 끊지 않으면서 장면에 긴장감을 더하는 포인트로 두었습니다.

팔의 형태가 바뀔 때마다 용의 움직임도 함께 살아나는 작업이 되길 바랐습니다.

This full sleeve piece centers on a dragon.

From the beginning, the composition was planned around the flow of the shoulder, upper arm, elbow, and forearm.

Before the tattoo, I adjusted the design to the client's actual arm size and shape, so the dragon could wrap around the arm and continue naturally downward.

The coiled body and dense scales were kept strong around the shoulder, while the movement carries through the lower arm with waves.

The red flame was used as an accent to add tension without interrupting the overall flow.

I wanted the dragon's movement to come alive as the shape of the arm changes.
