일본 전통회화 속 닭을 바탕으로, 팔을 따라 길게 이어지는 긴팔 구성으로 다시 정리한 타투 도안입니다.
닭은 예로부터 새벽을 알리고 나쁜 기운을 물리치는 길상적인 새로 여겨졌고, 복숭아는 장수와 복을 상징하는 소재로 많이 그려졌습니다.
그 좋은 의미들을 한 장면에 담아 가족을 주제로 구성하고 싶었습니다.
수탉의 긴 꼬리와 복숭아나무의 흐름, 아래로 이어지는 암탉과 병아리들의 장면이 팔 위에서 하나의 이야기처럼 연결되길 바랐습니다.
This tattoo design is based on chickens in traditional Japanese painting, reworked into a long arm composition.
In East Asian tradition, the rooster has long been seen as an auspicious bird — one that announces the dawn and keeps harmful energy away. Peaches have also often been painted as symbols of longevity and blessings.
I wanted to bring those meanings into one scene, and compose the piece around the theme of family.
The rooster's long tail, the flow of the peach tree, and the scene of the hen and chicks below are arranged to connect as one continuous story on the arm.
