Osprey

This design depicts an osprey diving to hunt, with carp moving beneath the surface of the water.

I wanted to capture both the visible world above the water and the unseen movement below the surface within one continuous composition.

The wings and talons of the osprey, together with the movement of the carp through the rippling water, were arranged to flow naturally along the full arm.

I wanted the piece to show a quiet surface, and within it, a sharp moment of hunting.

물수리의 사냥 장면을 그린 긴팔 도안입니다.

사냥을 위해 수면 위로 급강하하는 물수리와 물 아래에서 흩어지는 붕어들을 함께 그렸습니다.

이번 작업에서는 시선이 닿는 물 위의 장면과 수면 아래의 보이지 않는 움직임을 하나의 긴 흐름 안에 담고 싶었습니다.

물수리의 날개와 발톱, 물결 사이를 지나가는 붕어들의 움직임이 팔 전체를 따라 자연스럽게 이어지도록 구성했습니다.

고요한 수면 위에서 벌어지는 짧고 날카로운 사냥의 순간이 보이길 바랐습니다.
