Haetae on Rock and Waves

This tattoo design centers on a Haetae standing over rocks, surrounded by a large movement of waves.

Rather than focusing only on the symbolic meaning of Haetae, I wanted to emphasize the weight, force, and presence carried by its form.

The face and claws were drawn with a solid structure, while the mane and tail were arranged to connect with the movement of the waves.

The waves are not just a background element, but a way to expand the force and motion around the Haetae and the rocks.

I wanted the piece to remain powerful on the body, almost like a single dramatic scene.

바위 위에 올라선 해태와, 그 주변을 크게 감싸는 파도의 흐름을 중심으로 구성한 타투 도안입니다.

이번 작업에서는 해태의 상징성뿐 아니라, 형태 자체에서 느껴지는 무게감과 기세를 강하게 보여주고자 했습니다.

얼굴과 발톱은 단단하게 잡고, 갈기와 꼬리는 파도의 흐름과 이어지도록 정리했습니다.

파도는 단순한 배경이 아니라, 해태와 바위 주변의 힘과 움직임을 크게 확장하는 요소로 두었습니다.

몸 위에 들어갔을 때도 하나의 장면처럼 압도감이 남는 작업이 되길 바랐습니다.
