I drew a snake with Korean blue-and-white porcelain.
Blue-and-white porcelain is decorated with blue patterns on a white surface. I wanted to capture the calm impression created by white and blue, along with the beauty of the empty space.
Unlike the calm, still porcelain, the snake twists and moves around it. I thought the way it wraps around the porcelain would suit the arm or calf.
