The lotus has long been associated with purity and renewal, rising clean from muddy water.
For this piece, I kept the flower light in red linework and let the long stems follow the natural flow of the forearm.

연꽃은 진흙 속에서 자라 맑게 피어나는 모습 때문에 오래전부터 청정함과 새롭게 피어나는 힘을 상징해왔습니다.
이번 작업에서는 의미를 앞세우기보다, 붉은 선으로 꽃잎의 결을 가볍게 그리고 길게 뻗는 줄기의 흐름을 팔 위에 이어주었습니다.
